GENERAL HOSPITAL bad boy Ignacio Serricchio (ex-Diego) recently stretched himself with a comedy tour. Now he's taking to the Los Angeles stage with a starring role in the world premiere of Kowalski, a new play by Gregg Ostrin. "I'm very excited and [also] very nervous since I'm portraying Marlon Brando, one the greatest actors in history," the actor tells Soaps In Depth. "The play is about the first encounter between Brando, a 23-year old actor, and Tennessee Williams, one of America's biggest playwrights. It's the night that changed both their lives forever."

Set in 1947, the play is the untold story of Brando's audition for the role of Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire. The production opens Thursday, June 30, and runs weekends through Sunday, September 4, at the Two Roads Theater in Studio City, CA.
