Today, Thursday, February 23, is opening night for the Connecticut Repertory Theatre's presentation of Odysseus D.O.A., starring Kim Zimmer (Echo, ONE LIFE TO LIVE)!
A re-imagined twist on Homer's The Odyssey, the drama centers around AIDS patient Elliot, who in the final stages of his disease, vividly imagines himself as the legendary hero Odysseus and is determined to bring his crew (aka his fellow patients in the AIDS ward) home. Zimmer plays Elliot's mother, Mrs. Hayes. The regional debut of the play will run through Sunday, March 4, in the Nafe Katter Theatre in Storrs, Connecticut.
