deVry and Staab Storm Primetime!

Set those DVRs! Two of your favorite former daytime stars are about to storm two of your favorite primetime TV dramas. "I'm guest starring on ABC's CASTLE," reveals ALL MY CHILDREN's William deVry (Michael) of his role in the series' 100th episode. Alas, deVry didn't get to trade dialogue with fellow former soap star, Nathan Fillion (JOEY, ONE LIFE TO LIVE), whose title character is laid up with a broken leg in the tale. "I've known Nathan from the past, so that would have been nice, but my scenes were with Stana Katic, who plays Kate," deVry reveals, adding, "She was great -- I had fun!" Look for the lady detective to head out on her own to investigate the death of an IRS agent. "I'm playing a suspect [named Dan Renner]," deVry reveals. "He's a millionaire, but he's also a real douche." The episode, titled "Plays Well With Others," airs Monday, April 1, at 10 p.m. EST.

The actor tells In Depth that he's already on to his next exciting project. "I'm making The Outsider, a movie starring James Caan," he says of the crime thriller. In it, a British military contractor (played by EASTENDERS' Craig Fairbrass) is mistakenly informed that his daughter is dead and launches an investigation. "My character is just a good dude who helps out his longtime friend (Fairbrass)," deVry offers.

Since returning from Canada, where he starred last year on a sitcom, deVry says he's been fortunate to continue working steadily in Los Angeles and happy to be home with his girlfriend, Rebecca Staab (Elizabeth, PORT CHARLES; Ceclia, LOVING). Alas, the successful couple still hasn't had time to relax. Staab just finished taping a guest appearance for the upcoming summer season of Showtime's DEXTER! Look for her to play a character named Lucy Gerard in the episode airing Sunday, July 14, at 9 p.m. EST.

The Jersey Shore Heads To Llanview!

ONE LIFE TO LIVE recently signed singer Jessie Malakouti of Jessie And The Toy Boys to the cast of the online reboot of the soap as an aspiring musician (talk about typecasting!), and she recently tweeted news of an unusual guest star! It turns out that Jenni Farley, better known as JERSEY SHORE's JWoww, will be popping into Llanview for a bit! "Look who's here!" Malakouti tweeted. "Getting ready to film our first scene and possibly get white girl wasted in it!"

OLTL premieres online on Monday, April 29, along with ALL MY CHILDREN, but at this time we have no airdate for Malakouti's first appearance or JWoww's guest appearance. Stay tuned!

The Hunt Is On!

Don't miss Lori Loughlin (Jody, EDGE OF NIGHT) and Trevor St. John (Victor, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) in A Mother's Rage --one of Lifetime Television's most exciting thrillers yet! In it, Loughlin plays a grieving mother whose escape from a mental hospital leads her to a second, misguided killing spree. However, this time, law enforcement is on her tail, including a determined female sheriff and her crime buff daughter. "I'm the lead detective trying to track down Lori Loughlin's character," offers St. John, whose character is a member of the state patrol that takes over when things get out of control. Alas, don't look for St. John to share scenes with his fellow former soap star, whose killer character who proves elusive. "I didn't," he says chagrined. "And to tell you why would give away the story!"

St. John also plays a cop on the network's hit drama, THE CLIENT LIST, this season (catch him next on Sunday, March 31, at 10 p.m. EST), but he warns that there's a whole lot more to his characters than just a badge. "I'm not sure these cops are true good guys," he says, grinning. "That would be boring if they were. At least I didn't play them like they are." A Mother's Rage airs Saturday, April 6, at 8 p.m. EST.

Laugh With LaSardo!

Catch former GENERAL HOSPITAL baddie Robert LaSardo (ex-Manny/Father Mateo) as you've never seen him before! He's a member of the ensemble cast of BAD SAMARITANS, the latest scripted series from Netflix. In it, a group of miscreants get thrown together upon being sentenced to perform community service, and the comedy ensues. "I play a real Zen guy named Doug," offers LaSardo, who says he enjoyed the opportunity to play some lighter fare opposite the likes of David Faustino (MARRIED WITH CHILDREN) and comedian Andy Dick. "He deals with his anger by gardening!" The actor will appear in all five episodes of the crazy fun series, which will be made available on Sunday, March 31. You can check out a trailer by clicking here!

GH's Kristina Is Out!

Lindsey Morgan (Kristina) announced today on her Facebook page that she would be leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL.

"It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that my time at Port Charles has come to an end," she writes. "I'm not sure where Kristina is headed next but it was a beyond amazing opportunity to portray her... be part of the Davis Girls... have the Corinthos' passion and temper run though my veins and to witness history being made on this momentous show! I learned so much and am so grateful for the friendships I've made and experiences I've had. GH will always have a special place in my heart and I cannot thank y'all enough for tuning in loyally to watch me live my dream. But more importantly, Thank y'all for your endless love, letters, support, encouragement, kind words, even the little hello's or a sweet smiley face that love kept me going when I had difficulty navigating through Kristina's and my own journey this past year. Whenever I felt lost, I never truly felt alone and for that, I am eternally gratefully. Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your love. Thank you. Now keep watching GH! The Nurses' Ball is mere days away!"

At this point, we have no information on when Morgan will last air on GH, or whether the soap is writing the character out or recasting. But as soon as we hear anything at all, we'll let you know!

OLTL Keeps The Music Playing

Well, it looks like ONE LIFE TO LIVE is going to continue inviting trendy musical guests onto the show, even though it has moved from ABC to The Online Network. Prospect Park released some photos of Australian DJ duo Nervo on the OLTL set in Stamford, CT on Monday, March 25. Sisters Mim and Liv Nervo were filming a scene at a Llanview nightclub, and Josh Kelly (Cutter) took a try at the turntables after the pair had finished spinning records themselves!

OLTL has only just begun filming, so you should look for this episode to debut soon after the soap's online premiere on Monday, April 29!

Don't Miss GH's Johnny In A Sexy New Role!

Brandon Barash (Johnny) only just announced his decision to leave GENERAL HOSPITAL, but he's already landed another gig, a guest-starring role on an upcoming episode of BONES!

"It felt really good to immediately book," the actor confides. "It was a beacon from the universe that I was making the right choice. It felt good to be in a place where I could spend three hours on a two-and-a-half page scene. It was definitely an adjustment because I haven't worked primetime since before I booked GH. There was one scene that we probably did 10 or 12 times. And my legs were sore... really sore!"

The reason for the shooting being so tiring is that Barash is playing Storm, a male stripper! So the bumping and grinding can wear you out. "The introduction to Storm is at a suburban woman's birthday party," he reports. "About 20 women, screaming and slapping me on the butt. There were breakaway pants involved.

"It was a lot of fun," he adds with a laugh. "If things get tough, I can always turn to my newfound hobby!"

You can catch Barash (and quite a lot of him!) in the episode of BONES entitled "The Party In The Pants" airing Monday, April 15, at 8:00 pm EST on FOX.

Did GH's Rademacher Quick Step Into The Next Round?

Last night, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Ingo Rademacher (Jax) performed for the second time on DANCING WITH THE STARS, doing a quick step with partner Kym Johnson that earned decent marks from the judges, though they noted he still had room for improvement.

"Carrie Ann [Inaba] was jealous because she doesn't live in Hawaii anymore," Rademacher joked of one of the judges following the show. "I live in Hawaii. That's why I got a six from her. She owes me an extra number next week."

And while daytime has a fast-paced schedule all its own, nothing could have prepared the actor for what every episode of DANCING entails. "No, it would be like trying to learn your 80 pages of scenes on a treadmill, going to the weight room and then back and then to the elliptical and sprinting the whole time and trying to memorize," Rademacher declared. "Nothing has been as hard as this."

Not even performing at the Nurses Ball back in the day! "We'd practice for a half an hour before doing it," he said. "Here, we practice for eight hours a day."

The question is, were Rademacher's scores from last week and this week's dances high enough combined with your votes to push him through to the next round? Tune in tonight at 9:00 EST on ABC to find out!

GH Three Headed Back... As New Characters!

According to TV Guide, GENERAL HOSPITAL stars Michael Easton, Roger Howarth and Kristen Alderson will soon be back in the fair city of Port Charles. However, the characters of McBain, Todd and Starr won't be!

Ever since Prospect Park resumed their quest to revive ONE LIFE TO LIVE, the three Llanview transplants have been the focus of a tug-of-war between ABC -- where they have been working under contract for the past year -- and Prospect Park, who currently owns the rights to the characters under the licensing agreement. (The three had essentially been on loan to Disney/ABC Television Group.) And while an arrangement had been hammered out with Howarth for the character to be shared by both production camps (with the caveat that Todd cannot be seen on GH and OLTL on the same day), the careers of Easton and Alderson have been in limbo for months. For legal reasons, all three have been off the GH set since early February.

In their report, TV Guide claims that ABC has decided to create new characters for Alderson, Howarth and Easton. Read the full story here.

Is Patrick In Love?

Kudos to the folks at GENERAL HOSPITAL. Now THAT'S what you call a Friday show! It was a cornucopia of surprises, including the return of two beloved characters, the powerful exit of another, a baddie getting her comeuppance, and a blood tie that cannot be good news for some key players on the canvas. Hold onto your seats because this coming week should be a wild ride!

What's a widower with growing feelings for a bespectacled, frizzy-haired, socially inept mousy nurse to do? That's exactly what's eating away at Patrick. Lucky for him he's got a friend like Liz to point out that he's not being honest with his feelings. Looking very Holly Golightly with her upswept 'do, Liz gave him lots to think about, like, a good, platonic, albeit gorgeous and romantically available friend of the opposite sex would do.

Spinelli's Patrick-funded investigation into who framed Sabrina for cheating on her nurse's exam led directly to Britt, which Epiphany took delight in informing her. But, as it turned out, Britt's got more nastiness running through her veins than we originally thought. She took a stroll in the park, came face-to-face with Faison's Swiss operative Dr. Obrecht, and said, "Hello, Mother." *gasp* Well, that complicates things for Patrick just a tad, doesn't it?

There's nothing that brings family together like a woman going missing after breathing in a mysterious gas concealed in a stuffed teddy bear. Yup. That was Lulu that vanished. But the good news is that although she just up and disappeared, Maxie's dream of being confronted by her BFF about losing her/Dante's baby gave Julie Berman the proper, Emmy worthy send off... AND it brought Bobbie and Nikolas back to town to lend their support!

The excitement has just begun. As the Nurses Ball and GH's 50th anniversary day approaches, Anna and Dante find a clue to Lulu's whereabouts, Laura's life is on the line, and Patrick starts to tell Sabrina what he's REALLY feeling. Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Rademacher's DANCING Debut!

Last night, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Ingo Rademacher (Jax) performed his very first routine on ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS with partner Kym Johnson. However, it's no secret that the beach scene in the video package wasn't the first time the two actually met! "It was a fakey!" Rademacher admitted to us after the show. "And everyone on Twitter knows it!"

Rademacher is hoping that those Twitter followers are behind him as he tackles this latest challenge. "I do have a pretty strong Twitter base," he said. "A lot of my old supporters from the '90s and the days of Jax and Brenda and Sonny — which was a very popular triangle — I hope they're still out there, that they have phones and will get behind me!"

Dancing contemporary was obviously a new experience for the actor, but it turned out to be a new one for his professional partner as well! "I had to go and think about it," Johnson confided. "I really enjoyed doing it. It was really freeing. I think judging from the audience reaction, they liked it."

Another fan of the performance was Rademacher's on-screen brother, Sebastian Roche (ex-Jerry), who was in the audience last night. "I think he did amazingly well," Roche told us following the taping. "Contemporary dancing is very, very difficult. He had to do an enormous amount of lifts which he did really, really well. He has such charisma. He's so comfortable. He's never nervous. I would have been very nervous. I think he's here to stay!"

But did Rademacher get enough votes from his fans to remain on the show another week? You'll have to tune in next week to find out!

Will Ellie Save ELQ?

Nothing says, "I love you and I'm sorry for deceiving you" like allowing a tiny camera to be shoved down your esophagus. Having stolen and subsequently swallowed a piece of paper with the super secret ingredient to Pickle-Lila relish Ellie etched upon it, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Spinelli repented his misdeed by agreeing to the evasive procedure to, hopefully, retrieve said notation. The effort failed (surprise, surprise) but it did confirm that his insides had taken on a sepia tone caused by the over-consumption of BBQ chips and orange soda. Just kidding. Ellie then agreed to hypnosis to uncover the formula locked away in her mind... and to also explain why she's still sharing an apartment with Maxie.

While Kevin was attempting to get into Ellie's head, there was NO problem at all getting into A.J. and Elizabeth's. Bottom line, nobody does "stink eye" better than Becky Herbst (Liz) and those fabulous brows of hers! After having seen A.J. locking lips with Carly, Liz gave him the stare down to end all stare downs and, he, the poor guy, looked as though he felt the laceration of each eye dagger thrown in his direction. He's busting at the seams, torn between telling the truth (as if) and continuing with the tall tale that he and Carly are an item until she tells him the identity of the unknown Quartermaine heir. Money versus love. A.J.'s Sophie's Choice.

A.J.'s dilemma could be over sooner than he can say, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me!" He wishes. Anyway, Todd's scheme to catch A.J. and Carly in their big white lie is about to come to fruition. The "Easter Bunny" delivered colored eggs, chocolate candy and a nanny cam to little Joss. Rather than bring her new stuffed friend up to her room, it was left in the living room and pointed directly at the "couple" in question. How's that for luck being on Todd's side?

Lots of good stuff coming to GH viewers this week, including Sam and McBain looking longingly into each other's eyes (and what THAT could lead into), a Lucy/Scotty reunion, and one Spencer returning while another disappears. Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Rick Webber Returns To GH!

For its 50th Anniversary, GENERAL HOSPITAL has brought back fan-favorites like Genie Francis' Laura, fun '80s throwbacks like Richard Simmons as himself, and now it would seem that they're even bringing back the dead! TV Guide is reporting that Chris Robinson will be reprising his role of Rick Webber, although exactly how Rick will be back is being kept under wraps. On the plus side, it seems that GH headwriter Ron Carlivati is also taking this opportunity to do a little damage control on the character, who was turned into a villain in 2002 and killed off. So fans can expect to see the classic Rick they knew and loved with Monica.

Port Charles Comings & Goings

GENERAL HOSPITAL fans got worried when Brandon Barash (Johnny) tweeted "With a bittersweet, heavy heart I announce my time at GH has come to an end, as I have chosen to move on and pursue my NBA career. I love you all." And although it sounded like a joke, it is unfortunately true that the actor is exiting the soap (although probably not joining the NBA afterward!). The official Facebook page for Port Chuck, the band that Barash is part of alongside co-stars Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Scott Reeves (ex-Steve) and Steve Burton (ex-Jason, now Dylan, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), posted "It is not a joke. Brandon is leaving GH." At this time, however, there are no details as to when his last airdate might be.

It's not all bad news coming out of Port Charles, though! Joining the other fan favorites returning for GH's 50th Anniversary are Vanessa Marcil (Brenda) and Ingo Rademacher (Jax)! A rep for the soap has confirmed that both actors are on their way back, and should to be sticking around for a little while. Look for them later this month!

Springfield Speaks Out!

We may not know specifically when Rick Springfield will be bringing Dr. Noah Drake back to GENERAL HOSPITAL, but we can tell you that he'll be in concert on Hollywood Boulevard tonight, airing live on JIMMY KIMMEL! The late-night talker airs at 11:35 pm EST on ABC, and Springfield will be performing on a shut-down Hollywood Boulevard alongside Dave Grohl and The Sound City Players!

And while an airdate for his Port Charles return has yet to be announced, In Depth caught up with Springfield several weeks before he started taping. "I certainly owe this show," he says with gratitude. "They kind of got things rolling, so I always feel an allegiance to GH. It was a start of a new part of my life for me. I owe [former executive producer] Gloria Monty's memory a lot because she was the one that said, 'I'll take that guy.'"

Monty isn't the only one who gave a thumbs up to the young actor. "I did the audition scene with Jackie Zeman (Bobbie) back then," Springfield recalls. "Gloria said, 'Which one do you think?' and she said, 'That guy.' So they were both instrumental. Gloria was very nurturing of me, which is not a side that was overly well-known. She was an amazing person. She could be pretty tough when she needed to be, but she also had a really soft side."

Of course, wearing a tracksuit emblazoned with sequined letters spelling out "Nurses Ball 2013" is kind of a dead giveaway!

Since moving to Los Angeles after ONE LIFE TO LIVE wrapped, Brittany Underwood (Langston) has been pursuing her music career as well as acting in shows like HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS, and now has just released her very first music video!

The song is called "Flow," and she says "is about letting it go. You have all this stress in your life, and just learn that it's going to be okay. I wrote it with Matthew Gerrard, who did "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson and "She's No You" by Jesse McCartney (JR, ALL MY CHILDREN). I was so excited to work with him."

Eagle-eyed viewers might notice cameos from former OLTL castmate Kristen Alderson (Starr) and GENERAL HOSPITAL's Chad Duell (Michael) as well as one of her HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS pals, Ashley Holliday (Melissa). And the video was directed by Robert Adamson, who played Phil on HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS, and is now Noah on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!

"I'm super-excited about it," Underwood enthuses. "I hope everybody likes it!"
