Will Robin Resurrect The Cassadines?

There's "dead" and then there's "soaps opera dead." And if we're talking about the Cassadines, not poison, not bullets, not knives to the chest, or falls off cliffs or into bottomless pits can do them in. Although they've systematically been killed off one by one, there's one living, breathing relative who fell off the family tree that wants to bring them back to life... Victor! No one had heard hide nor hair of him for 33 years, then the next thing you know, he and his henchman were knocking on Robin's door. Flashing photos of Helena (his sister-in-law) and Stavros (his nephew), he told Robin, "They're no more dead than you are, and you are going to bring them back!" Um, say what?

While Robin was being sucked into the Cassadine vortex, Patrick was at GH giving Obrecht a piece of his mind. She mentioned in front of Emma that Sabrina was pregnant, adding, "Vich must make ju da fadder," she said, looking at him. Emma, of course, asked if it was true. Patrick chewed out Dr. O but good, while also wondering how she got out of jail. "I bought my freedom with the most valuable commodity of all... information," she smiled triumphantly.

Someone had to explain to Emma what was going on and Sabrina took the liberty to do so. She ushered Emma away and told her that her friend Carlos was the baby's father. Emma was disappointed, yes, but she carried on and, in fact, changed the subject all together to the Chupacabra. She disappeared under the table to retrieve "proof" that they exist, just as Liz was rushing in. "We need to talk," she told Sabrina. "I don't feel comfortable keeping this from Patrick. Will you please reconsider telling him it's his baby?" Emma popped up looking shocked at the news.

Spencer and Cameron also had the Chupacabra on the brain. When they walked into the stable to kill the beast, they found Heather and what she claimed to be the Chupacabra wiggling under a blanket. In reality, it was a bound and gagged Carly. The boys wanted to see it, but she told them that sight of it would give them nightmares. "Guess we don't have to see it to kill it," Spencer said. Those few words were music to Heather's ears. The boys could do her dirty work for her and, unbeknownst to them, kill Carly! She thought that was a fabulous idea! She pulled out the gigantic knife like the one Franco used to stab her and handed it to Spencer. He took a couple of steps towards it/Carly, then turned around and ran out. Cameron followed closely behind.

Meanwhile, hoping to prove that Heather had escaped and was framing Franco for Carly's disappearance, Kiki talked her way into Heather's Miscavige room. But when the orderly opened the door, she saw the back of a blond woman in a straightjacket. The orderly said Heather had been catatonic since the art show. She reported back to a confused Franco that Heather was indeed locked up, just as she should be. But little did she know that the person she saw at Miscavige was not Heather, but a drugged Luke in a wig!

Next week, Victor tells Robin why she will without a doubt help him, Sabrina makes a huge decision, and Franco makes an escape attempt! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

DePaiva Speaks Out On DAYS Move

As we previously reported, Kassie DePaiva (Blair, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) is joining DAYS OF OUR LIVES to take over the role of Eve Donovan, last played by Charlotte Ross back in 1991. And over on her blog, DePaiva has shared her feelings about the big move.

"As sad as it is to say good-bye or put Blair on hold," she writes, "I'm equally as happy to say hello to Eve Donovan. She seems to have a very rich history in Salem with many family members to surround her. I look forward to discovering the character as well as the town.

"I wish the gloriously beautiful and talented Charlotte Ross great success as she starts her new adventure on ABC's NASHVILLE," DePaiva adds. "I know she is greatly loved by the DAYS audience and I have very big shoes to fill. I promise to do my best to live up to everyone's expectations. So all you OLTL watchers... it's time to start watching DAYS now!"

DePavia is scheduled to report to the set soon, and should begin airing as Eve sometime this summer. We'll be sure to report on an official airdate as soon as one is announced. Will you be tuning in?

What Brings Victor Back To GH?

Victor Cassadine makes his return to GENERAL HOSPITAL this week when Thaao Penghlis reprises his role beginning on Friday, January 31. To find out what inspired the comeback, Soaps In Depth went straight to the soap's executive producer, Frank Valentini.

"Ron [Carlivati, GH's headwriter] thought it was time to bring [Victor] back," Valentini revealed. "And we have such a nice Cassadine presence on the show, he fit right in."

The exec had nothing but praise for Penghlis, most recently seen by daytime audiences as DAYS OF OUR LIVES' nefarious Tony. "He's a lovely actor, and we're really enjoying working with him. He's doing such a great job. I can't wait for the audience to see him!"

And when you do see Victor at the end of the week, you're not going to believe what has brought him back to Port Charles! Trust us!

Gotcha! Morgan Betrays Sonny!

Morgan's day on GENERAL HOSPITAL went from bad to worse. It began with a guilt trip and ended with wondering if his father was going to kill him! Or at least that's the seed Julian planted in his impressionable, naïve little head.

It all began when Morgan told Julian that Duke was working for Sonny, a tiny tidbit Morgan knew would lead to Julian bumping off the Scot. Ava shrugged off the whole assassination plan with all the "yeah, well" nonchalance of squashing a spider. Murdering Duke to protect the Julian family -- it was all a matter of perception, she thought. But as the fog rolled in on the docks, "the plan" didn't go quiet as Julian had expected. With his gun drawn, Julian approached Duke, ready to put a bullet in his heart. That is, until Shawn came up behind Julian and pointed a gun at him. Sonny stepped out of the shadows to greet his foe and asked Duke if he'd like to take the first punch. Duke very happily obliged.

Shortly thereafter, a bloodied and beaten Julian stumbled into Ava's apartment. He told her and Morgan that it was a bogus meeting, a set up, which meant Sonny was onto his son and was testing his loyalty. Morgan looked nervous -- really nervous -- and Julian used that fear to his advantage. "I wonder what Sonny will do now that he knows his son tried to play him," Julian pointed out. Back on the docks, Shawn wondered the same thing. Sonny's hurt and disappointment that Morgan was a traitor was evident. But what was he going to do about it?

Silas' day wasn't going very well either. Sam tracked down the one person who could say without a shadow of a doubt that Silas did not try to kill his wife, Nina. Sam and Silas' theory was that if the pharmacist could identify Ava and say she filled the prescription that put Nina in a coma, Silas would be cleared. A reasonable theory. Too bad their witness didn't agree. Instead, Nathan slapped the handcuffs on Silas and arrested him for attempted murder!

Whether Silas was guilty or not was still not known. Lucy, on the other hand, was guilty as sin! The crime? Adultery. Again. She tried to ignore her attraction to Scotty. You gotta give her an "A" for effort. But the minute they got in close proximity to each other, their eyes locked and it was wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Yes, they hit the sheets. Scotty was sort of hoping for an encore but Mac interrupted them. Felicia had tipped him off that Lucy was cheating on Kevin, and Mac was there to defend his BFF's honor... by gifting Scotty with a black eye!

Next week, Anna gets an earful from Julian, Sonny deals with Morgan, and Victor Cassadine returns to Port Charles with shocking news! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

What Is The Asian Quarter?

The list of mobster offspring grew yet again this week on GENERAL HOSPITAL when Brad revealed that his biological father was Kim Wu of the Asian Quarter's Wu crime family. Who is this notorious clan and what is the Asian Quarter, you ask? Let's fill you in a little...

It began in 1985, when a local godfather, Mr. Wu, was oppressing his people in a ghetto referred to as The Asian Quarter. He had arranged for two jade Buddhas decorated with black pearls to be stolen from a wise Chinese gentleman known as The Ancient One. But upon retrieving the statues, the pearls were missing. Mr. Wu assumed that when the artifacts were in Robert and Anna's possession, they took the pearls and ordered his grandson, Kim, to get them back. Kim was in deep with the family business, which included a slave market and extortion.

Wu's gang, along with Robert, Anna, Frisco, Felicia, Sean and a defiant group called the Green Shirts all were on the hunt of the missing black pearls. During this time, Robin overheard Robert and Anna mentioning that she was their daughter. Hurt and confused, she ran away. Robert assumed Wu had Robin kidnapped but, in reality, she was hiding out at GH. Through a twist of fate, Robin spots her doll at GH, the same doll that hold the black pearls in its eye sockets!

While Wu was losing his grip on his people, The Ancient One found Robin. She reunited briefly with Anna, only to again be nabbed by Kim's people and carried off. The Ancient One promised to find the pearls for Wu if he returned Robin to her family. Kim eventually got hold of the pearls, but Wu's granddaughter, Jade, threw him a curve ball. She grabbed them, put her hand through a glass window and tossed them to the people in the street below. Later, Robert found Robin and Kim was killed.

New Series For AMC Star?

Cameron Mathison has had his fingers in a lot of pies since exiting his role as Ryan on ALL MY CHILDREN. Most notably, he's appeared in a slew of made-for-TV movies. However, his next one, Hallmark Movie Channel's My Gal Sunday (premiering Saturday, January 25, at 9 p.m. EST) could just become a series! Based on the popular Mary Higgins Clark book of short stories, the two-hour back door pilot features the former soap star as a wealthy former U.S. Vice President who, together with his attorney-turned-detective wife, Sunday (Rachel Blanchard), attempts to solve crimes related to her cases. "Their relationship is very playful and light," Mathison previews. "It's a little bit MOONLIGHTING and a little bit HART TO HART."

The difference, however, is that Mathison's character is not the only man who loves Sunday. "Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco, GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Nick, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) plays the beauty's helpful dad. "He's a very cool government security agent, which is why Sunday has all the training that she has," Mathison offers. "It was my first time working with Jack as an actor. It was super easy, and we got along well."

Should fans turn out in high numbers to see My Gal Sunday, Mathison says he's game to continue with it. "It's a very different kind of character for me," he enthuses. "It's a very light, nice, and family-friendly film — I had a lot of fun."

OLTL Star To Play DAYS' Eve!

NBC has confirmed the rumor that Soaps In Depth had already reported: ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Kassie DePaiva (Blair) will be joining DAYS OF OUR LIVES — as the new Eve Donovan, half sister of Jen Lilley's Theresa!

Rumors of DePaiva traveling to Salem started earlier this month when she wrote on her Web site: "Good things are ahead this year and I hope to have more to report very soon." Almost immediately fans began to speculate on what the big news could be, wondering if OLTL could be returning again. But when DePaiva started following and engaging with DAYS actors on Twitter, the whispers shifted to the NBC soap -- and the fire was fueled when TV Guide's Michael Logan tweeted on Wednesday that he'd heard it was official that the actress would be joining the DAYS cast.

The character of teen hooker Eve was originally played by Charlotte Ross from 1987-'91, who tweeted back in December that she'd met with executive producer Greg Meng and headwriter Christopher Whitesell to talk about DAYS. But unfortunately, it was not to be. "I had to pass on reprising my fave role, Eve Donovan," Ross tweeted, "as I'm currently filming three projects." These include the VH1 series HIT THE FLOOR and ABC's NASHVILLE. However, she also tweeted, "I know Kassie will be wonderful!"

"We are excited to welcome Kassie to the DAYS family," co-executive producer Greg Meng said in a statement. "Stay tuned to find out how the return of Eve Donovan shakes things up in Salem!"

As DAYS currently tapes approximately four months in advance, look for DePaiva to make her debut this summer.

Deluged with congratulatory wishes from fans, the actor added some details with later tweets revealing that the baby is due in mid-July, and it was a surprise. Burton and wife Sheree already have daughter, Makena (11) and son Jack (8), but don't know yet whether their kids will be getting a baby brother or sister. The soap world was all abuzz this weekend after Entertainment Weekly broke the news that primetime soap star Donna Mills would be joining daytime legend GENERAL HOSPITAL! Mills, best known for playing Abby Ewing on the classic KNOTS LANDING, is set to join GH in a secret new role that was apparently created with her in mind.

Top brass at GH are being extra hush-hush about the part, and aren't spilling any details at this point, so we'll have to wait until she begins airing in late February. Could she be a previously-unseen Cassadine? Perhaps another branch of the Jerome family tree? Who would you like her to play?

McCullough Out Again!

When Kimberly McCullough brought Robin back to GENERAL HOSPITAL, fans wondered how long she would be staying this time around. And having spoken to the actress at the ABC Television Critics Association party, Soaps In Depth learned that this particular stint is about to come to an end very soon! "I only have two more weeks left," she told us. "Next week and the week after."

McCullough has always tried to balance her GH appearances with her career as a director, and with getting ready to shoot her feature film coming up, she simply couldn't do both. However, she's quick to profess her love for GH and assure fans that she will be more than happy to return to Port Charles again as soon as her schedule allows.

As for how Robin's departure will affect the storyline with Patrick and Sabrina... well, let's just say there's probably going to be some pretty upset "Scrubs" fans! How do you feel about it?

Franco: Port Charles' Most Wanted Man!

Franco's evil past is coming back to give him a sizable bite on the booty!

For all those crimes against humanity that GENERAL HOSPITAL's Franco committed and was never punished for, karma is now taking care of that! As the prime suspect in Carly's disappearance, he was the most sought after man in town... and not in a good way! Heather had the rather brilliant idea of murdering the woman she hated (Carly) by framing the son she grew to resent (Franco). Two birds with one stone, as they say. Her efforts, though, weren't enough to persuade Scotty to arrest his son. Anna spotted the D.A.'s conflict of interest and outlined all the evidence against Franco, including a knife that, to us, looked a lot less like Carly's blood and more like it had been slicing up serving of a Marie Callender's Razzleberry pie.

Disgusted that Franco was still on the loose, Heather kicked it up a notch by putting on her best cartoon voice and making an anonymous call to Michael. Tipped that the PCPD was dragging their feet on arresting Franco and, therefore, finding Carly, Michael raced to the station and threatened a lawsuit. Franco, meanwhile, turned to Sam for help. You know, the same Sam that he kidnapped, drugged and made to believe he had raped and impregnated. That Sam. Apparently, she's the only private investigator in town who is capable of finding a missing person.

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, while memories of the night Connie was murdered started to come back to A.J., Tracy was totally freaked out about the possibility of a raccoon in the boathouse. In reality, the only "vermin" inhabiting the storage shed was Heather and Carly. A.J. passed on shooing away the unwanted resident, as did Michael. So Tracy called her go-to man, Luke. And when he walked in to the tiny shack, it wasn't a mask-wearing mammal he found, but rather a bound and gagged Carly!

Poor Bobbie was in a panic. Ever since she found out that Carly's car was found covered in her blood, she was a nervous wreck. She had been careful what info she told Lucas, fearful that he'd rush to Port Charles to support his mom while his sister was missing. Under different circumstances, that would have been nice, but Bobbie was worried that he'd bump into his biological dad, Julian, whom he thought was dead. So when Lucas did, in fact, show up in PC, Bobbie tried not so nonchalantly to convince him to leave! Instead, he headed to Kelly's to pick them up a bite to eat. As he was about to walk in, Sam walked out... unaware that Julian was sitting at a table inside, just a few feet away!

Next week, a new Chief Of Staff is announced, Lucas meets his father and Luke's discovery has its consequences! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Who Is Lucas Jones?

He's finally here! The name Lucas Jones has been bandied about on GENERAL HOSPITAL for months on end. Now that he has made his way to Port Charles, how about a refresher course on the young man, who could, should he choose to, carry on the Jerome family name?

Lucas' life was complicated because of the criminal underworld, literally, from day one. Cheryl Stansbury learned she was pregnant and everyone assumed the baby daddy was Robert Scorpio, whom she was seeing at the time. The fact of the matter was that the biological father was mobster Julian Jerome.

When the baby was born, granddad Victor sold him on the black market and momma Cheryl was told her baby died at birth. Unable to have children of her own and with a legal adoption having fallen through, Bobbie Jones bought the baby and named him Lucas, after her big brother Luke.

After Lucas was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, evidence turned up that proved Lucas was Cheryl's son. Bobbie's deceit cost her her husband, Tony, and two of her closest friends, Robert and Tiffany (Cheryl's sister). Lucas was eventually returned to Cheryl. The following year, Cheryl died in a car accident and left Lucas in Bobbie and Tony's care because she thought her sister Tiffany didn't want children. But she did. A bitter court battled ensued with both Tiffany and Bobbie vying for custody. Bobbie and Tony won and filed for adoption.

Years later, Helena Cassadine poisoned Lucas to force Tony into "defrosting" her son, Stavros, from his cryogenic freeze. Although Lucas had crushes on Georgie, Maxie and Brook Lynn, he came out to his friends and family. Bobbie's first reaction was to get him into counseling, but eventually accepted his life choice. After Tony died, Lucas moved to Seattle, where he has been for several years. All this time, he has believed that Julian was dead... as did all of Port Charles!

GH Star Injured Again!

Last year around this time, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kelly Thiebaud (Britt) was limping around on crutches after having cracked her femur bone. Twelve months later, she's wearing another cast — this time on her wrist, which broke after a fall off a skateboard! "January is my month to break my bones," she jokes. "I need to be handcuffed so I have to stay in one place."

While her broken leg was written into the show with the insinuation that Frisco had made her slip on ice, it hasn't been decided if her injured arm will be explained on camera. "Hopefully Frisco's not going to come back and taunt me anymore," Thiebaud laughs. "When something like this happens, you freak out worrying that they're going to just stop writing for your character. But they were awesome and said they'd work around it."

Who Will Air The Daytime Emmys?

Cable outlet HLN has broadcast the Daytime Emmy Awards for the past two years, but there won't be a third. "It's fairly definite," Albie Hecht, the network's vice president and general manager, tells Soaps In Depth. "I just want to put a pause on everything and figure out what we're doing before we make any commitments. Shows like [the Daytime Emmys] need commitments in advance to plan and I don't think we can make that commitment."

Hecht, who joined HLN a little over three months ago, says that the decision has been made early so that the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) can make other plans. "It's only fair to let them look around and let them do what they need to do," the HNL chief adds.

This doesn't mean that the Daytime Emmys won't be on television, however. "Having the show on HLN was a wonderful experience for us," says David Michaels, senior executive director of the Daytime Emmy Awards. "We are currently exploring other avenues so that the Daytime Emmys will have a broadcast home."

For her part, THE TALK's Aisha Tyler would love to see the ceremony return to one of the big three networks. "I think it would be great," she says. "CBS is the number one daytime network. It'd be great to have the Daytime Emmys on the number one daytime network. I think that would make perfect sense!"

Are Carly's Days Numbered?

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Heather sets her plan for murder in motion!

Forget Campbell Soup and Hershey's Kisses. If GENERAL HOSPITAL is looking for a product placement that'd blend seamlessly into storyline, Ginsu knives would be a good way to go. Not since Psycho has a kitchen utensil gotten such a great close-up! Let's back up a little and get you caught up on the no-good Heather is up to with that nasty ol' knife of hers!

What seemed like everyone in Port Charles was running around in a tizzy when they couldn't find Carly. Michael physically grabbed Franco by the collar and tossed him into a wall, screaming his ear off. "What have you done with my mother?!" Franco attempted to convince him that just because he kidnapped and held Carly hostage once didn't mean that he'd do it again because, ya know, he's a changed man and all (cough). Franco hoped that Kiki believed him and she did. It was her other parent, Ava, that she wondered about.

Michael broke the news of Carly's disappearance and her dalliance with Franco to Sonny and Morgan. For the first time since Morgan aged from tween to sexpot, the two brothers had a civil conversation and, dare we say, even bonded. Morgan thought back to Julian's threat that he'd hurt someone close to him and his testosterone started to boil. Next thing Julian knew, Morgan had him by the collar and thrown up against a wall. Oh, those Corinthos boys. They've got Daddy's temper, now don't they?

Michael, Morgan and even Kiki were wrong. Heather was the culprit, and she had a master plan. She had Carly bound and tossed on the floor of the Quartermaine boathouse. In front of her was a pad. "Sign it or die," Heather told her, pointing a gun at her head. Incognito in a wig, hat and dark glasses, Heather later took said letter and planted it in Franco's hotel room, talking to herself in the process. "You drove me to this," she mumbled, remembering that he tried to kill her. Heather then returned to Carly at the boathouse, said, "Onto the next thing"... and pulled out a humungous knife. Actually, it was thee humungous knife Franco thought he killed her with!

Cutlery was Heather's weapon of choice, but words were Morgan's. He had to put on a show for Sonny when he walked in on his son in a close moment with Ava. To make it appear that he dumped her, Morgan tore her to shreds. "I was telling this bleach blond nympho to stay the hell away from me," Morgan spewed. Ava stood there stunned as he laid into her. Finally, he opened the door and slammed it behind her. Ava wasn't sure what to make of it. That was an act, right?

Next week, Patrick has hard questions for Sabrina, new evidence surfaces about Silas' mysterious past and a terrifying clue about Carly's fate is found! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Soap Stars Move To BEACON HILL

A slew of familiar faces are starring in the new Web series BEACON HILL, including Sarah Brown (ex-Claudia, GENERAL HOSPITAL; ex-Agnes, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) Alicia Minshew (Kendall, ALL MY CHILDREN), and Crystal Chappell (Dani, B&B; Olivia, GUIDING LIGHT) The serial, filmed on location in Boston, was co-created by Jessica Hill and her wife Linda, who is the chief executive officer of Bella Books, a publisher of lesbian fiction.

"BEACON HILL is a political drama set in Boston," Jessica tells Soaps In Depth. "Alicia and Sarah are our two leads, and they play the daughters of two political families in Boston. One's Republican and the other is Democrat. Alicia's character, Sara, and Sarah's character, Katherine, were together [romantically] and they broke up. Our story starts six years later when Sara's grandfather, played by Ron Raines [Carl, OLTL; Alan, GL], has a stroke. Sara, who's living in New York, comes back to Boston and you see dynamics between her family and Katherine start to develop."

The rest of the cast — which reads like a Who's Who of daytime — includes Scott Bryce (Craig, ATWT), Ricky Paull Goldin (Jesse, B&B; Gus, GL), Louise Sorel (ex-Vivian, DAYS), Tina Sloan (Lillian, GL), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex, OLTL), Jessica Morris (Jen, OLTL), and Melissa Archer (Natalie, OLTL). Also in the cast is newcomer Rebecca Mozo.

BEACON HILL is produced by Bella Productions, the sister company of Bella Books, in association with Chappell's production company, Open Book Productions. Goldin and Emmy-winning actress Hillary B. Smith (Nora, OLTL; Margo, ATWT) serve as producers on the show.

Chappell, who has helmed Web series VENICE and THE GROVE, plays Claire, Sara's mother. How did that work, since there's less than a decade between the two actresses? "I age myself," Chappell confides. "I went without makeup and I wear my hair severely — it's in a twist and high up on top. It's a fun character to play. Claire's husband is gone. My feeling is he couldn't tolerate her family.

"BEACON HILL is a very different show," Chappell adds. "It's a political drama with intrigue and romance revolving around two political families. Jessica and Linda are terrific people and writers. I love working with them!"

BEACON HILL begins streaming on Wednesday, March 5. For more info, check out

EXCLUSIVE: Soap Vet Weds Oscar Nominee!

Anna Stuart (Mary, ALL MY CHILDREN; Donna, ANOTHER WORLD) shares with Soaps In Depth exclusively that she and her longtime beau, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actor James Cromwell (Babe, BETRAYAL, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM), wed on New Year's Day at the home of Stuart's AW pal Charles Keating (Carl).

"Since our romance officially began at Charles' home two years ago on New Year's Eve, we decided to get married there," Stuart says with a smile. "Mary, Charles' wife, was 'scheming' all the while. She wanted James in a nice relationship, and she knew I was available."

Stuart and Cromwell met back in the '80s through Keating and stayed in touch, casually, over the years. "Charles was having a birthday party two years ago at Sardi's [restaurant in New York] and I was invited," the actress shares. "James and I spent the party chatting and catching up. We went out and had lunch, and it all kind of shifted from friendship to where we are today. It's pretty cool. This is a relationship I've wanted all my life."

Did the eloquent Keating say a few words at the ceremony? "Of course, he did," Stuart responds with a chuckle. "Charles has so much wonderful stuff in his brain."

Later this week, the couple is set to leave for Africa on a trip that was already planned but will now serve as a honeymoon, too! "After we get back we'll do parties [for family and friends] on either coast," Stuart adds. "We didn't want a big 'do' for the [ceremony]. We wanted to do this just for us."

Classic TV Stars On GH?

William deVry (Julian) let a little GENERAL HOSPITAL casting spoiler slip on Twitter when he revealed that THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY star Shirley Jones would be making an appearance on the soap! But what's even more interesting is that the actor revealed it by Tweeting the information to STAR TREK's William Shatner!

"We have Shirley Jones coming onto GH tomorrow," deVry wrote to Shatner. "We are still hoping your agent will let you join us for a few episodes."

Shatner replied: "You know the last time Shirley and I worked together she played my mother. Send her my love." (This was in a 2013 episode of the sitcom HOT IN CLEVELAND.)

A rep for the soap confirms that Jones will be appearing in an upcoming episode in February, but wouldn't it be fun to see Captain Kirk himself show up in Port Charles, too?

Baby On Board!

Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL's Bradford Anderson (ex-Spinelli) and his wife, Kiera, who are expecting a baby girl in May!

"I'm going to be surrounded by girls! Crazy!" exclaims Anderson, who already has an adorable two-year-old daughter named Juna. "I can tell it's perfect for our family. Plus, we don't have to buy any new things; we are already fully prepared for a baby girl! Strange though, everyone we know is having a girl! Good for the world, I think. More women! Huzzah!"

Anderson, his wife and Juna are all thrilled with the news. In fact, Juna has already bonded with her baby sister! "She says 'good morning' and 'good night' to Mommy's belly every day," Anderson smiles. "It's very sweet. We could tell Juna would love a sibling. One day she looked at us and said, 'I need a friend.' So what's better than a built-in, life-long friend?"

Winter Fun With GH Stars!

With much of the US blanketed in snow and ice, photographer Jim Warren created a couple of humorous JibJab videos to show how some GENERAL HOSPITAL stars might enjoy the winter weather. (Even if they don't necessarily have snow in Los Angeles!)

So watch Anthony Geary (Luke), Robin Mattson (Heather), Ian Buchanan (Duke), Lynn Herring (Lucy) and Anders Hove (ex-Faison) have a raucous snowball fight and Maurice Benard (Sonny) have a sled race with on-screen sons Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), Chad Duell (Michael) and Bryan Craig (Morgan), and maybe they'll put a smile on your face so you don't think about the awful weather outside your own door!

Morgan Chooses Sides!

"Guilt" was the magic word on GENERAL HOSPITAL this week. Silas, Duke, T.J. and, of course, Morgan all had a crisis of conscience that left them anxious to get matters off their chests.

Ashamed of himself for shooting Max, Morgan was hanging around his hospital room with a puppy dog frown that pretty much screamed, "I did it!" Sonny was not happy when he saw him. He pulled his son into a vacant room and read him the riot act. Sonny was not one for subtilty. He handed Morgan a gun and closed his fingers around the trigger. "You wanna be a man? Shoot me!" Sonny ordered. That opened Morgan's floodgates. Regardless of how Morgan felt about him, Sonny tried to make it clear that the life he was leading in the Jerome circle was not right for him. He got in Morgan's face and whispered, "Whether you come back to me or not, you've got to get away from them and do it now when you still can." That struck a chord. Fired up, Morgan showed up at Julian's hotel suite, determined to call it quits. "I can't do this anymore. I want out," he said. But the look on Julian's face all but said, "Like that's going to happen."

Sonny's obsession with Julian was on a path to create a problem between Duke and Anna. Keeping secrets from Anna or exploiting their relationship was not part of their business agreement. But Anna was also on a mission to stop the organized crime faction in town and, at the moment, the Jeromes were the biggest threat. So when Nathan strolled into her office, showed her his stellar record as a New York cop and said he wanted to clean up the town, she welcomed him aboard.

Silas was itching to tell Sam about his mysterious past but something always got in the way of a full confession, like a roll or two in the hay or a text message from the scorching hot cop that followed him from NYC. While Silas was trying to dodge the cops, T.J. and Molly wanted to run to them! But Shawn set them straight. "I'm as good as dead if the police find out I was at the warehouse the night of the shooting," T.J. told Molly, unaware that Rafe was in earshot. Now there was a solution for Rafe to get rid of the competition for Molly's heart!

Next week on GH, Franco freaks out when he sees Heather, Nathan questions Sam, and will Julian really let Morgan leave the "Jerome family"? Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

How To Watch GH On-Line

With SOAPnet no longer broadcasting, GENERAL HOSPITAL fans unable to watch the show during its regular daytime timeslot may be looking into streaming the soap on-line. However, beginning Monday, January 6, ABC is making it just a bit trickier to do so.

Starting next week, you will only be able to view an episode the day after it airs on ABC with the new Watch ABC app, which requires you to sign in with your cable TV provider to view ABC programming on your computer or moible device. To find out if your provider participates in Watch ABC, you can click this link. You can also sign in with your cable provider on or purchase a Hulu Plus subscription. Otherwise, you will have to wait a week before episodes of GH are uploaded for viewing.

Episodes are still available for purchase via iTunes or Amazon, but for free viewing, it looks like it'll be easiest to catch GH during its initial airing on ABC. How will you be watching?
