Meghann Fahy (Hanna, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) is guest-starring in tonight's episode of LAW & ORDER: SVU, and the role should prove to be a powerful one!
"Meghann plays Jenny Asch, a mother and victim of domestic violence," previews show running Warren Leight, "who, when charged with reckless endangerment of her daughter, is forced to confront long-repressed memories of how she was sexually exploited as a young girl herself."
He also admits that the role of Jenny was one of the most challenging guest spots of the entire season, but Fahy stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. "At first, her character seems to be acting out for reasons unknown," Leight explains. "As the story progresses, she becomes aware of the horrible exploitation she suffered as a child. It was emotionally as draining a part as any actress has been called upon to deliver.
"Meghan was fierce one moment, near breakdown the next and made every transition believable and moving," he adds. "Everyone on set was buzzing about her from day one."
You can see for yourself what all the fuss is about when the episode "Downloaded Child" airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST on NBC.
