"Fluke" Visits... Luke? Uh Huh!

Whether you love it or hate it, you have to admit, you cannot take your eyes off of Anthony Geary in GENERAL HOSPITAL's Fluke story. And when "fake Luke" came face-to-face with a stoned, cross-eyed, drooling, straightjacketed "real Luke," it was just about as creepy and bizarre as creepy and bizarre gets!

"It's hard to believe that the drugged-out, wasted, broken weakling I see before me is Lucas Lorenzo Spencer... and I'm not," Fluke said, squatting to get eye-to-eye with his buzz-scalped look-alike on the floor of a padded cell. Fluke laid it all out for Luke, telling him how he planned and studied him for years, waiting for the right moment for the switcheroo. But it wasn't until Fluke announced that he had married Tracy and was taking "care of her in the sack" that Luke spoke, stumbling over and salivating as he forced out the words, "You keep your filthy hands off Tracy!"

The more Fluke shared what Spencer was missing in Port Charles, the more Luke teared up. Fluke finally verbalized his objective -- to take over Port Charles and obliterate "that son of a bitch" Sonny Corinthos. As Fluke was about to step out of the cell, Luke asked who he was. With that, Fluke got right in his face and said, "That's the million dollar question."

South of the border down Puerto Rico way, Sonny was holding a gun on Ava, itching to pull the trigger. She grabbed the hand holding the weapon and lowered it to point at her belly. "I'm having your baby, Sonny," she said calmly. She pulled out a pregnancy stick to prove it. Was it his or Morgan's? Not that it mattered. Either way, she was as good as dead. "Listen, you bitch," he shouted ("bitch" was the hot word Friday), "if you're lying, you are dead!" And if she was telling the truth? "You're still dead... nine months from now!" There was only one way to know for sure -- a trip back to PC and a visit to GH!

Ric's hope of having a red hot night in bed with Elizabeth went up in flames when Anna and a few PCPD officers stormed into his Metro Court suite with a warrant to search his room. While he was pleading his case to a shaken and speechless Liz, swearing that he was being framed, one of the cops found a gun. Ric was carted off to jail and Liz rushed to Alexis for help. But when Liz got to the lake house, Alexis wasn't alone. Julian was there; the man that sealed Ric's fate by falsely naming him as the Big Kahuna of the Jerome crime family. After Liz greeted him with a well-deserved "you bastard!" she was rattled to discover that Alexis believed her new boyfriend over her ex-husband and the father of her child. Bummer.

Oh, and there was that little thing about a drunken and depressed Morgan pulling Olivia into a kiss and suggesting they sleep together. He likes older women; she likes younger men. What harm could it do? Olivia was a bit of a party pooper and turned him down. She might want to rethink that!

Next week, Alexis breaks the news to Molly, Sonny begs Morgan for forgiveness and Maxie meets with a judge about her daughter. Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

AMC's Chabert Takes On Real-Life Tale

Lacey Chabert — the actress who, as a 10-year-old, got her television start playing Erica Kane's daughter, Bianca, on ALL MY CHILDREN — takes on the challenging role of a grieving single mother in Hallmark Movie Channel's new feature, The Color Of Rain.

Based on the true events described in Michael and Gina Spehn's best-selling book of the same name, the touching film is about a man and a woman who find new love — and a whole host of other challenges — upon connecting following the tragic deaths of their respective spouses. Chabert was excited by the opportunity to play Gina (opposite MOTIVE's Warren Christie as Michael) in the film. "It came with a great responsibility because I wanted to make them proud of what we were doing," she says of the inspirational story. "I thought it would be something that people could relate to and hopefully also learn from. I was really honored to be a part of it."

Chabert, who happened to be preparing for her own wedding during filming, couldn't help but take a few lessons from the relationship of the couple that the movie is based on. "In getting to know them, I think I've learned that it's important to find the levity in life and situations," the actress concludes. "I was inspired by how they truly live their faith, and the hope and peace that that brings to their life."

Tune in to catch the world premiere of The Color Of Rain on Saturday, May 31, at 9 p.m. EST on Hallmark Movie Channel.

The Jig Is Up, Ava!

Attention, Ava Jerome! You might want to slip off those sexy sling back sandals and lace up your running shoes because Sonny is coming after you and he is not happy!

The arrest of Julian Jerome for drug trafficking and racketeering was all over the news. With him locked up behind bars, Ava was out of harm's way and safe to return to Port Charles. At least, that's the way her day began!

Franco and Carly returned from their visit to see Spinelli in Portland with a cleaned up recording from A.J.'s phone that yielded Ava's confession that she killed Connie. Franco wanted to edit out the portion of the recording of Sonny screaming at A.J. and then shooting him before handing it over to the police. Carly, however, made it abundantly clear that was a really bad idea. She reasoned that Ava would no doubt want to swing a deal for her release, so there was nothing to stop her from turning Sonny in for A.J.'s murder.

"Going to the police, that's not our only option. I could give it to Sonny," Carly smirked as she told Shawn. Sure, she'd be handing Ava a death sentence but, eh, who cares? Carly sure didn't. Before day's end, Carly marched into Sonny's office with the thumb drive containing the recording, placed it in his computer and told him to listen to it himself! Oh, next week is gonna be a doozy!

Meanwhile, Julian and Jordan were in adjacent jail cells and good roommates they most definitely were not. He was both fighting mad for being dragged back into the Mob chaos and worried sick about Lucas' condition after being shot in the chest. Julian kicked and screamed and finally was given the right to make a phone call to check on his son. After Anna gave him an update on Lucas, Julian confronted Scotty. Julian got Scotty elected as D.A., and now he was in his pocket. Scotty refused to drop the charges, but Julian begged to differ. "You can..." he said, "and you will!"

Julian was looking for "an out" while Luke was looking for a way to suck him back in! Luke slipped into Lucas' room, where his unconscious nephew was fresh from surgery and hooked up to a respirator. Luke hovered and paced the hospital room and then, finally, walked up to the bed. He grabbed the breathing tube, bent it in half, cutting off Lucas' air and said grimly, "You're going to have to be dead to make the message clear."

Friday's episode wasn't just about people looking to kill other people. T.J. also rejected his mother in a bold, cold manner, and Kevin told Lucy he was divorcing her. Not a happy moment to be seen!

Monday's Memorial Day preemption takes viewers back to the day A.J. was shot, Obrecht had it out with Anna about Faison's disappearance and, yes, a bittersweet Robin montage you cannot miss! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

GH's Anton Wins DANCING!

Kelly Monaco (Sam) isn't the only person who's appeared on GENERAL HOSPITAL to win the coveted mirror ball trophy on DANCING WITH THE STARS! Dance pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who played Anton, the Metro Court handyman who not-so-coincidentally danced with Sam at last year's Nurses Ball, won season 18 of the reality dance competition series with celeb partner Meryl Davis, an Olympic ice-skater.

"I'm not as beside myself as I thought I'd be because I'm incapable of accepting gifts or awards," Chmerkovskiy told reporters last night after his victory. "Meryl's a fellow Capricorn — she knows what I'm saying. This [victory] is special because of the people who dedicated their time for us. This is about the people who voted and called and stayed up overnight and voted [for us]."

Favored to win this year, Chmerkovskiy tried not to feel too confident that he'd be announced as the victor. "I was talking to my dad about it before the show," he says. "I said, 'If I have nothing else to give, then the outcome is irrelevant.' In my mind, there was nothing more I could have done."

Fortunately, what Chmerkovskiy had was more than enough to win! Alas, his DWTS schedule this year prevented him from having enough time to reprise his role as Anton for the 2014 Nurses Ball. "It was an awesome experience," he tells Soaps In Depth of performing on GH.

Luke? Luke who?

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Fake Luke, as we've come to know him, is a creepy, duplicitous, money-hungry, immoral power-loving pervert. But now he's also got murder in mind!

The morning after his wedding night, he's anything but madly in love with his new bride, Tracy. In fact, he was on full-throttle avoidance! His mind was elsewhere, like the drug shipment coming in that night. When Julian called a face-to-face meeting with him, Luke assumed he had news about Ava's whereabouts. Julian did not nor did he want any part if killing her once she was found or the incoming drug shipment. "I quit," he said pointedly. Luke's reaction? "What the hell?"

Julian explained that he now had something to lose and a family to consider. He wants to stand on his own, go legit, as they say. But Luke told him he wasn't going anywhere! Julian stepped in close, got nose-to-nose with him and said that if he wanted to walk, he was going to walk. Period. He wouldn't stand in his way of taking out Sonny and everything he knew about him and his plans would stay between them. Julian asked to shake on it, and they did. But after Julian stepped away, Luke had the look of a murderer in his eye. It was downright scary!

Around the same time, Alexis was with Ric in the lakehous. She had summoned him there to beg him to let Julian out of the organization. Ric insistsed over and over and over again that he wasn't Julian's boss, and it wasn't until he swore on Molly's life that he wasn't working for the Jeromes that Alexis finally believed him! Their heated discussion when she got all soft and girlie-like, admitted that she cares about Julian and hasn't felt that way since... well... since Ric. Aww. After they shared a bear hug and Ric left, there was a knock on the door. It was Luke. There was a load gun in his pocket and his "Hello, Natasha" took on an especially ominous tone.

He wouldn't really kill her to prove a point to Julian, would he? It looks like he might!

Meanwhile, Liz told Nikolas she was moving out of Wyndemere, and that shee was giving Ric another chance. Nik fought her tooth and nail on that brilliant move, but she Liz was adamant that she and Nik had no future. Like, ever. Not even a kiss from the handsome Prince woke her up from her Ric dream!

Next week, Julian calls a family dinner for a big announcement, Maxie receives a court order and Carly and Franco uncover some pretty big news thanks to the help of an old friend. Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Let's Get This Party Started!

A little song, a little dance, sexy young men in their underpants. What more could you want from a charity gala?

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nurses Ball got underway with a spectacular opening number courtesy of none other than Liesl Obrecht. Surrounded by scantily clad "nurses," she welcomed attendees with her version of "Willkommen" from Cabaret. She deserved a standing ovation but the poor dear got nothing but blank stares and the sound of crickets from the shocked audience.

Brad and Britt were watching the televised show from his apartment while swallowing spoonfuls of vanilla ice cream. It's no surprise that didn't help with their depression. Everyone knows that requires Rocky Road! Anyway, Brad was upset that Felix and Brad arrived together and he wasn't about ready to sit there and pout. He wanted to throw on a tux and head to the ball. Britt was not in the mood to join him but Brad talked her into it.

Meanwhile, Kiki tackled Pink's "Raise Your Glass," surrounded by mirrors, a gazillion balloons plus Liz, T.J., Lucas and Felix, who had some serious moves! Eddie Maine (aka Ned Ashton) then performed Meatloaf's "You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth" like a bad boy of rock 'n' roll. If he had worn Eddie Maine's signature black leather pants he would have been badder but, cest le vie.

Amidst all of the musical whoopla, there were lots of awkward moments. Like when Nathan and Maxie locked eyes, he told her she was beautiful, she grinned sheepishly... and then Levi showed up in his flip flops to rain on their parade. Or when Ric told Liz that maybe their date didn't have to be "a one-time thing" and she shot him a "think again" look.

The most unexpected moment came when Lucy introduced the next performer -- Luke Spencer! The lights went down and a profiled silloutte appeared on stage. "I am what I am. I am my own special creation," he sang. There was something both ironic and spooky about the lyrics of the song from La Cage aux Folles as sung by the man who viewers have no idea really is! But the surprise wasn't just Luke's performance. It's what came after it -- he asked Tracy to marry him right there, on the spot. With Lucy officiating, she pronounced them husband and wife, to which Luke thought to himself, "Easy, big guy. Forget these delicious babes for now. You're this close to getting ELQ. Just kiss the damn bride!"

After the bridal bouquet was tossed (and caught by Liz), it was time for a little eye candy. Make that, a lot of eye candy. It was time for Magic Milo And The Magic Wands! Milo, Felix, Lucas, Michael, T.J. and Nathan all shook their bon bons, unbuttoned this and ripped off that until they were in nothing but their skivvies!

Up next, Sonny reaches out to Olivia, Spencer sings for Emma, Luke be working at ELQ after all and... Blackie Parish performs? Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!

Emmy Nominees React!

How did GENERAL HOSPITAL's Daytime Emmy nominees find out that they'd made the final cut? What episode did they submit? Read on to find out!

Jason Thompson (Patrick): "I had a hockey game [the night before]; I got home at 12:30 [a.m.]; I was restless once I got home and I stayed up and did some work. I went to bed at 2:30. I woke up to a bunch of text messages from friends, family and colleagues. It was very nice. It was definitely a nice way to wake up.

"I submitted the episode where Patrick tells Sabrina that he's going to go back to Robin, and then he goes back to his home and tells Robin he's home. It told its own story within the episode. It represents me and the show well. It's always interesting trying to go through those episodes and find the one to send in... I was very comfortable with the one I chose."

Bradford Anderson (ex-Spinelli): "I was still in bed when I got the news. I set my phone to airplane mode when we go to sleep; have a 2 ½ year old daughter who likes to wake up (early) and a Yorkshire terrier that loves to run around. When I took my phone off airplane mode it was lit up.

"I submitted the day Ellie told Spinelli that he was the father of the baby outside the nursery. It's not every day that you get a circumstance like that. One show does not a year make. Some years you don't get those heightened scenarios. You take the best work that you can think of. I think the Emmy shows that win have to be a combination of a good actor doing good work with heightened material; what sets this day apart from every other day? That was the most dramatic moment I had."

B&B Star Checks In To GH!

Daytime vet Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) confirms to Soaps In Depth that he'll be appearing on at least one upcoming episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL (like, maybe today)! He's keeping mum on exactly who he'll be playing and what he'll be doing in Port Charles, but the actor/musician (Moss is a member of the band Player) will be airing during the Nurses Ball so there's speculation that he'll be not just acting on the show, but singing, too!

How'd it all come about? "[GH's headwriter] Ron Carlivati came up with the concept," Moss reveals to In Depth. "He ran it by Frank [Valentini, executive producer]. Everybody loved it!"

The former CBS Daytime star admits that an offer from a rival network surprised him, but adds, "It shows me how savvy the guys are who are running [GH]. I think it's going to be a good payoff for them."

Moss and his new pals at ABC agreed to keep the casting coup under wraps for as long as possible. "We all chose collectively to keep it a secret," he says. "That was kind of the point of it."

It's a bit serendipitous that Moss has landed back at ABC. The actor started out his acting career there in a talent development program prior to landing on B&B. "It was myself, Robin Wright (Kelly, SANTA BARBARA), Arsenio Hall, Emmanuel Lewis (WEBSTER), Emma Samms (ex-Holly, GH), and Gordon Thomson (Mason, SB). We all started out together and then went our separate ways."

Moss didn't feel like a stranger in Port Charles. While he says Michelle Stafford (Nina, GH; ex-Phyllis, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) hadn't started there yet when he shot his scenes, he did see on set many of his former B&B co-stars. "I saw Ian Buchanan (Duke; ex-James, B&B), William deVry (Julian; ex-Storm, B&B), Rick Hearst (Ric; ex-Whip, B&B) and other people I've known for years like Anthony Geary (Luke) and Finola Hughes (Anna)."

Although GH is only a brief appearance, Moss wants his fans to know that he loves being a part of the soap opera world and has no ill will towards the genre. "To blatantly say 'I would never go back to daytime' would be a slap," he declares. "I never said that. But people will read into things what they want to."

Bradford's Back!

Ever since Bradford Anderson's Spinelli left GENERAL HOSPITAL, fans have been hoping for his return, and Soaps In Depth has learned that he willl soon be back! A show rep had no comment, but it's likely that Anderson's return will be a relatively brief one. Now that Maxie's back in town, it's about time for the Port Charles family court to revisit the judge's decision to grant Spinelli sole custody of daughter Georgie. So Anderson will probably appear only long enough to settle that issue once and for all.

We'll keep you updated on further details regarding dates and storyline as we get them!

B&B Star Joining GH?

Hot on the heels of GENERAL HOSPITAL's surprise casting coup of Emmy winner Michelle Stafford joining the soap as Nina, news has broken that THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's ex-Ridge, Ronn Moss, is also checking into GH!

It seems that the show is trying to keep a lid on things at this point, so details are scarce, but we're hearing it's just a small part. And Moss' wife, Devin DeVasquez, confirmed as much on Twitter, posting, "It's only a special appearance. He's way too busy and doing many different things."

If it's only a brief appearance, could Moss' band, Player, be performing at the upcoming Nurses Ball? Stay tuned!

Michelle Stafford Is GH's Nina!

The casting had been rumored for a while now, but at the end of today's episode it was revealed that Michelle Stafford is playing GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nina! The actress, best known to daytime fans as THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Phyllis, left that role last year and as soon as the character of Nina was mentioned on GH, rumors began flying fast and furious. They were denied on all sides, but clearly that was just in the interest of keeping the secret until Nina could awaken from her coma for an end-of-episode cliffhanger!

With Nina alive, it looks like Madeline isn't a murderer after all, and her eventual appearance in Port Charles will certainly throw quite a monkey wrench into hubby Silas' relationship with Sam! What do you think of the revelation of Nina's true fate and the casting of Emmy winner Stafford in the role?
