When it comes to love, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nathan West is like a lava lamp -- he's pretty to look at but he moves kinda slow!
After just about everybody over the age of 12 had been telling him all along, Nathan finally admitted to himself (and to Mac) that he had feelings for Maxie. Wouldn't ya know, he came to this realization on her wedding day to another man! Nathan, being the gentleman that he is, believed it was too late, that Maxie had already made up her mind to marry Levi and that was that. What he didn't know was that the bride's feet were ice cold because her groom was not the man she was pining for!
With the nuptials on the Haunted Star just hours away, Maxie changed into her wedding gown and modeled for her proud mother. There was a knock on the door, and in walked Levi. Felicia quickly covered up Maxie because, you know, it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the ceremony. In this case, oh boy, is it ever! Anyway, Levi reached for Felicia's hand and kissed it, noting the Aztec heirloom on her finger. Felicia mentioned where the remaining treasure was, adding that she traded the necklace with a photographer at the Nurses Ball.
After Levi left, Felicia could tell Maxie wasn't happy and spoke up. When Mac showed up and said he wanted some alone time with Maxie, she made it clear she wasn't in the mood for yet another lecture about Levi. Mac promised there would be no lecture and that he'd give his blessing if that's what she really wanted, but only if she heard him out first. With that, Nathan's secret affection for her was no longer a secret!
Meanwhile, a man walked into the PCPD demanding to see the commissioner, but Nathan was the only one around. The man identified himself as a reporter and said someone broke into his house, hit him over his head and stole his Aztec necklace. Was it a coincidence that just that morning Mac pointed out that Levi kept pandering to Felicia's Aztec heritage? Nathan thought not!
Sonny had a very difficult time forgetting the kiss he planted on Carly the day before, as did Nina, who witnessed it from a distance. As Sonny and Franco argued about Franco keeping his mouth shut about Sonny's secret and Sonny keeping his distance from Carly, Nina rolled up behind them and not-so nonchalantly listened in. After Sonny stepped away, Nina passively but masterfully planted the seed in Franco's head that Sonny and Carly were still "involved." When Franco eventually finds out about that Sonny/Carly smooch, it will not be pretty!
Monday, Levi is caught red-handed, Silas tells Sam about a clue in regards to Patrick's accident and Maxie has an opportunity to admit that she shares Nathan's feelings! Don't forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
