AMC Alum Lands Hot Role!

ALL MY CHILDREN graduate Alexa Havins (ex-Babe) is on a roll! A few weeks ago, ABC announced that the soap sweetheart had landed a short arc on GREY’S ANATOMY as the much-younger girlfriend of Meredith and Lexie’s father, Thatcher, starting Thursday, February 10. And now, the actress has been tapped to join the cast of the cable cult hit TORCHWOOD as a series regular!

TV Line — helmed by former Soaps In Depth staffers Michael Ausiello and Matt Webb Mitovich! — broke the news that Havins will play Esther, a CIA Watch Analyst, in the sci-fi drama who develops feelings for colleague Rex, played by Mekhi Phifer. TORCHWOOD kicks off its fourth season later this year on Starz.
