Bachelorette To Be A Mom!

A new little princess will soon join one of Hollywood’s royal families! Shayne Lamas-Richie (who appeared on GENERAL HOSPITAL in 2005 as teenage Carly) is expecting her first child with husband Nik Richie, founder of the gossip site TheDirty.com. “The Lamas-Richie family is happy, healthy and definitely pregnant,” the former ABC bachelorette and LEAVE IT TO LAMAS star announced via Twitter on April 12. On her blog, www.LamasRichie.com, the actress/model posted a picture of herself in a bikini, showing off her baby bump, with the message, “Nik and I are so excited. Team Girl!!”

The daughter of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL alum Lorenzo Lamas (ex-Hector), Lamas-Richie is also the sister of former AS THE WORLD TURNS hunk A.J. Lamas (Rafe). Her grandparents are the late Argentine actor Fernando Lamas and the sultry screen star Arlene Dahl. After winning Season 12 of THE BACHELOR, Lamas-Richie and *Matt Grant *were briefly engaged, but called things off in the summer of 2008, shortly after she was given the last rose. Last April, Lamas and Richie made headlines after eloping to The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas just hours after meeting for the first time. What a way to celebrate their first anniversary!
