ABC has announced another flurry of fan favorites who will be returning to ALL MY CHILDREN before the iconic soap airs its last episode on the network on Friday, September 23. David Canary (Adam), Julia Barr (Brooke), Lee Merriwether (Ruth) and original cast member Ray MacDonnell (Joe) will all be back for a Pine Valley visit.
For her part, Barr is set to tape a week's worth of episodes in August, which will air in September -- the final shows that are broadcast on ABC. "I am thrilled to be back on the show, personally and professionally, for what will be an exciting and emotional time," says Barr. "I have no idea yet what brings Brooke back to Pine Valley, but trust that Lorraine Broderick -- AMC's best headwriter in the history of the show -- has something brilliant in the works. I can't wait to see my old friends -- the cast and crew -- and dive into a week of shows that will hopefully bring pure satisfaction to fans." Look for the four veterans to air in September.
