Craig & Thiebaud Engaged!

Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Bryan Craig (Morgan) and Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt), who became engaged over the weekend! Craig took advantage of a three-week break from the soap to whisk longtime girlfriend Thiebaud to Bali for a romantic vacation celebrating their two year anniversary… and pop the question!

“I’m totally stoked,” Craig told Soaps In Depth just after taping his final scenes and heading to Bali. “I’m sure she knows I’m going to ask sometime soon, but I hope she’s not expecting it on this trip!”

The actor was so proud of selecting what he believes is “the perfect ring” that he couldn’t resist showing it off in the GH make-up room before the break, swearing excited co-stars Haley Erin (Kiki), Brytni Sarpy (Valerie) and Emme Rylan (Lulu) to secrecy.

It was a 20-hour flight to their romantic getaway, but Craig was determined to refrain from proposing until just the right moment… or at least until they got off the plane! “I won’t be able to wait past the first day,” he admitted, “so I know that’s when I’ll ask her.”

And sure enough, on Sunday, June 28, Craig posted a photo of Thiebaud proudly showing off her ring on Instagram with the caption “She said yes!” Best wishes to the happy couple!
