Genzel Makes a Wish!
Together with the Hallmark Channel, Carrie Genzel (Skye, ALL MY CHILDREN) will be kicking off the holiday season with the family film, The Wishing Tree. It it, she plays a domineering woman whose son gets into trouble when left at boarding school over Christmas. “She blames the professor (Jason Gedrick) who took the boy under his wing and insists on his firing, but comes to realize that what her son needed was to be feel like he’s part of a family and know he’s loved,” Genzel previews. “This is a great holiday film that tackles overcoming our fears and remembering what is most important in life something that gets easily lost in the busy holiday shuffle.” The Wishing Tree premieres on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, November 10, at 8 p.m. EST.
