GH Announces Time Change!

DVR alert! GENERAL HOSPITAL will indeed be airing one hour earlier in most markets starting this fall, making room for Katie Couric‘s new talkshow, which was promised the 3 p.m. timeslot in most ABC stations around the country. (The show itself, KATIE, is syndicated.)

“Hey GHers! We’re letting you know first — beginning MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th, we’re moving into our new time slot at 2ET /1PT |CT,” the soap announced via its official Twitter account, putting an end to months of speculation over which slot GH would call home in the ABC Daytime line-up this fall. KATIE will debut the same day.
