GH’s Ainsworth Goes Back To School!

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Lexi Ainsworth (ex-Kristina) is headed back to high school for her appearance in The CW’s drama, iZOMBIE. “I play this girl named Tate,” Ainsworth says of the Tuesday, June 2, episode titled “Dead Rat Live Rat Brown Rat White Rat.” “My friend gets eaten by a zombie, but I don’t really know what happened.”

Look for the actress to share scenes with the lead character, Liv Moore (Rose McIver), a medical resident who’s hiding that she’s become a zombie by working in the coroner’s office and solving murders. “I’m this ditzy cheerleader, and she interviews me and asks questions about my friend,” Ainsworth reveals. “It’s supposed to be that I’m serious, but it comes across as being funny.”

The actress had such a great time on the set that she’s eager to find out whether her character can return. “That’s what they are discussing,” Ainsworth confides. “The show definitely wants to bring me back, so they just have to figure out how and when.”
