For the next few months, a different blonde will be playing GENERAL HOSPITAL's Maxie: Kirsten Storms has temporarily been recast due to an illness with Jen Lilley, a regular on MTV's comedy improv show DISASTER DATE.
"Drumroll please... I will be on GENERAL HOSPITAL for the next couple of months!!" Lilley posted on her Facebook page last night. "I start tomorrow!!!!!! Not sure what else I'm allowed to say!!" This morning, Lilley added, "Ok! I guess I can say it, I am temporarily replacing Kirsten Storm to play the role of Maxie."
A spokesperson for GH confirms, "due to illness of Kirsten Storms, the role of Maxie Jones will be temporarily recast by Jen Lilley with a first air date of September 28. The cast and crew of GH wish Kirsten a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming her back to the set soon."
While this marks Lilley's first foray into daytime, her previous TV credits include guest spots on HANNAH MONTANA, TWO AND A HALF MEN, iCARLY and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, as well as a host of independent films.
