GH Tot Recast!

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s tiniest stars, Jaxon and Jakob Kring — the twins who play Sam’s son, Danny — have been recast. A show rep shares that Caden and Corben Rothweiler have taken over the role.

“We just want to say thanks to all the fans and GH cast/crew for an amazing two years,” the twins’ mom tweeted. “Unfortunately, the boys have been recasted. We are very thankful for the time we had and wish the new Danny much success and luck.”

The show’s casting call was for 3- or small 4-year-old twins; the Krings will celebrate their third birthday in January. As for the 3 1/2-year-old Rothweiler brothers, they appeared in a 2013 episode of DISNEY XD’s KICKIN’ IT.
