NASHVILLE premiered on ABC in 2012, but after that network canceled it, the musical drama moved to CMT in 2016 for a fifth season. The upcoming mid-season premiere is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, at 9 p.m. ET, and will pick up 10 weeks after the tragic events surrounding Rayna’s death. Executive producer Marshall Herskovitz previewed, “There is most definitely life after Rayna. That’s for sure. And yet we never forget her. She’s sort of a presence in each of the episodes, because that’s what happens in life.”

There are also big changes coming for Panettiere’s Juliet and Avery, played by GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky). “Juliet has gone through this real profound change, but she’s still Juliet. She still has that part of her that wants to be on top. We love that part of her!”

So be sure to tune in on June 1 to find out what’s next for all of your favorite NASHVILLE characters, and be happy knowing that their stories will continue into 2018!
