Congratulations to ONE LIFE TO LIVE fan favorite Renée Elise Goldsberry (Evangeline), who earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for her work as Angelica Schuyler Church in the Broadway smash hit, Hamilton!

The actress posted a photo of herself and daughter Brielle after the nominations were announced, writing, “I am so grateful for her and for all of God’s perfect blessings! I am so humbled by this nomination. And I am high on all this love…”

Another OLTL alum is up for a Tony as well, with Jonathan Groff nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for his own work in Hamilton! Daytime fans might recall he briefly played troubled high school student Henry Mackler on the soap.

The 70th annual Tony Awards are scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 12. Good luck to them both — and all the other nominees — on the big night!
