Rafe Did “What” Because Of “Who”?

Rafe gives teenagers a bad name. Not because he’s a belligerent, brazen bad boy. No. It’s because he’s a good kid who does stupid things!

Let’s start from the beginning. Dante, Sam and Silas deduced that Rafe was driving the car that ran Patrick and Sabrina off the road, an event that lead to the premature birth and tragic death of teeny tiny baby Gabriel. Hoping to find the troubled teen before he did something else stupid, the trio raced to his and Silas’ apartment and kicked in the door. But Rafe wasn’t there. Instead, they found Nina lying on the floor with a bloodied face. She claimed that Rafe did it and then fled!

That, of course, was nowhere near the truth. What really happened was that Nina paid Rafe to leave town and to keep his mouth shut about her being able to walk. And that cut on her cheek? She wanted to make it look good so she told Rosalie to punch her, to which the sassy RN replied, “I thought you’d never ask!”

While Nina soaked in the pity from Silas, Molly cornered Rafe in the parking garage and said that she knew he was doing drugs. He wanted to run away; she didn’t want him to, so she climbed in the car. When Dante and Sam showed up, Rafe sped off with Molly riding shotgun. While on the road, he confessed that he killed Dr. Drake’s little boy. Molly got that, “whaaaaattt?” look on her face then told him that the only way he’d find peace was to turn himself in. Cue the wailing police siren, as Dante and Sam were in close pursuit!

The more Molly talked, the more anxious Rafe got. Finally, he blurted the truth about the car accident: “Someone put me up to it, all right? They told me to do it!” The next thing you know, Molly screamed, tires screeched and the kids ran head on into a roadblock!

Meanwhile, everyone in town was heading to the park to see fireworks. There was Patrick and Emma, who asked her Daddy if she and Mommy were getting a divorce. Patrick said solemnly, “I think so,” and they cried together. Nathan and Maxie passed through the park on the way home. Still attached at the wrist with police handcuffs, their playful bickering ended when skyrockets went off — both literally and figuratively.

Britt pulled a fast one, getting Liz assigned to work the late shift. With Spencer’s help, Britt got invited to watch fireworks with Nikolas. While Spencer was off flirting with Emma, Britt recalled how she met Nikolas last year on July 4th and poured it on with the “I wanted to become an honest, good person because of you” spiel. Spencer came to her aid yet again, telling his Pops that Britt looked cold. Nikolas, being the prince and all, put his arm around her. Score one for the Britch!

On Monday’s show, Delia and Ava put their heads together, Michael questions Tracy about Alice and a nasty car accident sends Rafe and Molly to GH! Don’t forget: 2:00 ET and 1:00 PST/CT on ABC. Be there!
