This may be the only good thing to come out of the impeding exit of GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kimberly McCullough (Robin): the Scorpio family will be back together once more! Our pals at TV Line broke the exclusive news that Tristan Rogers (Robert) will be joining Finola Hughes (Anna) when she returns to the soap for February Sweeps to usher out their television daughter.
As previously reported, Hughes is due back on the screen early next month, and Rogers will follow mid-February. Both actors are due to stick around for "the foreseeable future" and not just to facilitate Robin's exit... whatever that may be.
While the storyline is bound to be a tear-jerker, McCullough couldn't be happier to have her TV parents back in the fold. "I think that it's really important that I'm leaving the show with my parents there," she tells Soaps In Depth. "It's important to the legacy of the character, and the show, too."
Rogers made his last Port Charles appearance as the superspy back in 2008 when his little girl got married. He wrapped up a stint on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Colin late last year, and is currently on the Web series THE BAY.
