ALL MY CHILDREN alumna Denise Vasi (Randi) has a new primetime gig! Deadline reports that the actress has been cast as a new lead on the second season of VH1's hourlong scripted comedy series SINGLE LADIES, to fill the void left by the departure of Stacey Dash. Vasi will play Raquel, a savvy businesswoman from a prominent Southern family who is a good friend of LisaRaye McCoy's Keisha. Charity Shea rounds out the group as the third lead, April. "Denise is the perfect addition to the SINGLE LADIES cast," says executive producer Queen Latifah. "She is bringing a fun, new element to the show." Season 2 will begin production in Atlanta in January, to premiere in early summer.
