ONE LIFE
TO LIVE:
Do you think OLTL should have killed off Jared?
Heck no! He was so important to the Llanview canvas. I'll miss him.
Of course! He wasn't my favorite character, and it created dramatic story.

Carly went off in search of medicine for an ailing Rafe, deciding her best bet was to disguise herself and swipe some from Salem’s hospital. While at the hospital, she overheard conversations that helped catch her up on the details of Bo’s life — including that his marriage was on the rocks. She wanted to seek out Justin, but wound up running into Bo… mainly because he caught her trying to break into his house! Once they got past the awkwardness of the situation, Carly filled her former love in on everything that had happened and begged him to help keep her safe from the vengeance-seeking Alamains! Meanwhile, Victor convinced Hope to move into the Kiriakis mansion rather than leaving town with Ciara. The tycoon convinced Bo to do something about reuniting his fractured family, but the cop was too busy dealing with Carly’s problems. Unfortunately, because Carly had asked Bo to keep her presence in Salem secret, it created further problems in his relationship. Hope realized that Bo was keeping something — and someone — from her and, suspecting he was having an affair, became determined to uncover his secret. Brady and Arianna finally gave in to their barely-suppressed passions and kissed. They decided to start seeing one another again but not go public with their relationship. Arianna shied away from admitting why she’d broken up with him in the first place, but Brady didn’t push for a reason. Their plan to keep everyone in the dark lasted about six seconds, however, when Victor saw them together and immediately realized they’d reconnected. The mogul convinced EJ to buy his part of the drug trade, conveniently keeping out the fact that the feds were sniffing around it. Nicole went into cougar mode in an attempt to seduce Chad into abandoning his determination to gain custody of Sydney. Mia tried going the legit route by preparing to fight her babydaddy in court. Both Chad and Mia approached Justin about becoming their attorney, but he refused to get involved after finding out the DiMeras were connected. Nicole decided she should flee to Rio with the baby. But she didn’t get far once Stefano woke up and summoned his daughter-in-law to his bedside. Tired of Nicole’s antics, he threatened to turn Nicole in. But when Sami ticked him off, Stefano reconsidered reuniting her with the child and instead promised to prevent Chad from finding out he was the father. Stefano convinced Mia to let him manipulate the DNA so it would look as if she had slept with someone other than Chad. Even after learning Mia supposedly had slept around, Will stood by her. A barely-conscious Rafe had made his way to Arianna, dying to tell Sami everything he’d discovered about Nicole’s heinous plot. Carly went in search of Justin but instead ran into Bo… as she was breaking into his house! Awkwardness aside, Carly filled him in on what had happened and asked for his protection from the vengeful Vivian Alamain. Promising to help, Bo ran off to find Justin just as Hope returned home to find Carly in her husband’s bed! As Carly calmed Hope down and filled her in on what had happened, Bo got Justin up to speed. Hope didn’t buy that things were cut and dry with Lawrence’s death, so she told Bo he had 24 hours to do something about his ex. But it seemed she gave him even less than that when, after Hope made a mysterious phone call, the feds showed up to arrest Carly! Melanie and Nathan, meanwhile, tried taking things to the next level, but the hunk was summoned to the hospital. While there, he shared some touching moments with Stephanie. She later admitted to Brady that she still wanted Philip! Victor wasn’t thrilled about Brady dating Arianna again, so he tipped his grandson off to the fact she was dealing drugs. Brady handled the news by firing her from the pub, kicking her out of his life and running off to sulk. Stefano kept Nicole from fleeing the country and ordered her to come see him. Tired of her antics, Stefano was going to wash his hands of her… until Sami got under his skin. Rather than allow Sydney to go back to Sami, Stefano agreed to help Nicole by making it look as if Chad couldn’t be the baby’s father. Mia reluctantly went along with the story to keep Sydney from Chad, but it cost her Will when she had to tell him that she’d slept around! Rafe was trying to put an end to all the lies so, after filling Arianna in on his plans, he snuck into Sami’s place to swipe a DNA sample and prove his baby-switching theory. Sami came home to find him rummaging around and — although she was thrilled enough to make love right then and there — promised to tell no one he was back. But bursting to tell someone, Sami wound up confiding the news of her lover’s return in the last person she should have: Nicole!
