Dear Aiden, I was wondering if you have ever been on any other TV shows? Alisha |
Dear Alisha, Yes. I was on HEARTBREAK HIGH in Australia, and on EASTENDERS and THE BILL in England. |
Dear Aiden, How was your first Super Soap Weekend, and will you be back next year? Angela Ford |
Dear Angela, My first Super Soap Weekend was great. I loved every minute of it. It was crazy, but at the same time, it was real fun to do. You’re on show from nine in the morning until seven at night and you have to keep your wits about you. But it was so cool to see so many fans in one spot. A big reason why I loved it was because I’m just a normal person, yet I could make all these other people’s day just by saying hello. That was great. I’d love to be there next year, but it’s up to ABC whether they want me there. I hope to see everybody there again. |
Dear Aiden, What are your cooking specialties? Janet Reid |
Dear Janet, I like to make sea bass with mixed vegetables and brown rice. I like apple pie or apple crumble [for dessert]. I also like to make chicken breast stuffed with garlic and spinach. I lightly sauté it on both sides and stick it in the oven with vegetables, then slice it on a bed of spicy pasta. I don’t know what you’d call it, though. Chicken and pasta, gourmet style. |
Dear Aiden, You are one of the best on AMC, and I think Aidan and Simone would have some good chemistry. What do you think about a pairing down the road? Dustin |
Dear Dustin, Sure, I wouldn’t mind. I think she’s attractive. |
Dear Aiden, What kind of music do you listen to? Molly |
Dear Molly, I listen to the [dance CDs] Ministry of Sound and Chill Out Sessions. I love those. I also listen to Enigma. I deejay house music, so I mostly like that. |
Dear Aiden, What part of England are you from? I enjoy your work very much. AMC should have more English actors on it! Catherine Climpson |
Dear Catherine, I’m from Hertfordshire, which is north of the borough of London. That’s where the cows are. There are hills, countryside and farms. |
Dear Aiden, What advice would you give to someone who wants to go into acting? Tammy |
Dear Tammy, Get yourself into a very good acting course and study Meisner. Buy a book on acting and see if you understand it. Watch old-time movies and reenact parts of movies with friends. Get serious; write down the words and see if you remember them. Get somebody to tape you and see if you like the work. All in all, you have to love it. It has to be a passion.
